1. Booking & Deposits

• All tattoo appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.
• Deposit amounts vary based on the size and complexity of the design.
• Your deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.
• Deposits are transferable to a new appointment date with at least 48 hours notice.
• Deposits are forfeited for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• 48+ hours notice: Full deposit transferred to new date
• 24-48 hours notice: 50% of deposit transferred to new date
• Less than 24 hours / No-show: Deposit forfeited
• Repeated cancellations may result in requiring a larger deposit for future bookings.
• We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to illness or emergency with full deposit transfer.

3. Age Requirements

• You must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo.
• Clients aged 16-17 may be tattooed with written parental/guardian consent and the parent/guardian present during the appointment.
• Valid photo ID is required at every appointment (driver’s licence, passport, or proof of age card).
• We reserve the right to refuse service if age cannot be verified.

4. Health & Safety

For your safety and the quality of your tattoo, you must NOT be tattooed if you:

• Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have a sunburn or skin irritation in the tattoo area
• Have an active skin condition (eczema, psoriasis flare-up, etc.)
• Are taking blood-thinning medications (consult your doctor first)
• Have had cosmetic treatments in the area within the past 2 weeks

Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications before your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it may compromise your health or the quality of the tattoo.

5. Preparation

For the best results, please arrive to your appointment:

• Well-rested and hydrated
• Having eaten a full meal within the last 2 hours
• Wearing comfortable, loose clothing that provides easy access to the tattoo area
• With clean skin (no lotions, oils, or numbing creams unless previously discussed)
• Without accompanying guests (due to limited studio space)

6. Aftercare

• Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided after your tattoo.
• Proper aftercare is essential for healing and the longevity of your tattoo.
• We are not responsible for infections, poor healing, or fading due to failure to follow aftercare instructions.
• Touch-ups within 3 months are complimentary if aftercare was followed correctly.
• Touch-ups required due to improper aftercare will incur a fee.

7. Design & Copyright

• All custom designs created by White Lotus Tattoo remain the intellectual property of the artist.
• Custom designs are created exclusively for the commissioning client and will not be replicated.
• We do not copy other artists’ work. Reference images are used for inspiration only.
• Design changes after approval may incur additional fees and require rescheduling.

8. Photography & Portfolio

• We may photograph completed tattoos for our portfolio and social media.
• No identifying features will be included without your explicit consent.
• You may decline photography at any time.
• If you share your tattoo publicly and tag us, we may repost with credit.

9. Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Refunds for completed tattoos are not provided as tattooing is a permanent service.
• If you are unsatisfied with your tattoo, please contact us to discuss options.

10. Liability

• Tattooing involves inherent risks including infection, allergic reactions, and scarring.
• By proceeding with a tattoo, you acknowledge these risks.
• White Lotus Tattoo is not liable for adverse reactions, provided proper hygiene and aftercare practices were followed.
• You will be required to sign a consent form before your tattoo.

11. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who:

• Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Is disrespectful to staff or other clients
• Requests offensive or hate-related imagery
• Cannot provide valid identification
• Has a medical condition that contraindicates tattooing
